Back to creepy co-workers: There's a guy I have to deal with who does web development with an outside firm, and every time I answer the phone I know it's him by the heavy breathing. It creeeeeeeps me out! I can't stand to even talk to him. It's like Darth Vader is doing my web photo changes.

Hi all! I've already spent part of my morning in the bathroom crying and another part of it at my desk crying. I've been working on this new project for the past 6 months. Well, my boss decided to hire an outside consultant to work on that project and has basically got amnesia about the fact that I busted my butt on it for 6 months. So, I've been totally phased out of it in like the past 2 weeks with no acknowledgment whatsoever.

I really need to get the eff out of here.

Well, I'm an assistant whose been supposed to transition to a project-based position in our strategy group for about a billion days now. The head of the strategy group who was working on this project with me is also out on maternity leave. Oh, and I can't get my new position until she gets back. In February. I'm just sick of being like "Shouldn't I be in that meeting since I've been working on this and was supposedly steering it in X's absence?" It does nothing for my self worth.

It's such a frustrating thing because I know I'm one of the smartest, most hardworking people here but my boss is like "Ooo someone new. Shiny!" And only focuses on that. Meanwhile, I'm still his assistant long after the time passed when I was supposed to be in a new position.

Whoa, sorry, long vent. It's really making me into a miserable, depressed person.
